Trouble accessing the portal

If you see a blank white page after logging into the portal, nothing is broken on your end — you just need to force your browser to load the latest version of the site. Here’s how, depending on your device.

Do this on the portal — not on this page. Every step below must be done while you’re on the portal itself (portail.veloservices.ca — the page that shows up blank), not on this help page.
The fastest fix — a “hard refresh”:
Open the portal (the blank page at portail.veloservices.ca), then press:
• On Windows: Ctrl + Shift + R (or Ctrl + F5)
• On Mac: Cmd + Shift + R
In most cases it fixes the problem right away. If it doesn’t, clear the portal’s cache using the steps for your browser below.

Computer

  • Click the padlock 🔒 to the left of the address → Site settingsClear data.
  • Or: menu → More toolsClear browsing data → tick “Cached images and files” → Clear.
  • menu → SettingsPrivacy & Security → “Cookies and Site Data” → Clear Data.
  • Hard-refresh shortcut: Ctrl + Shift + R (Windows) or Cmd + Shift + R (Mac).
  • Hard refresh: Cmd + Option + R.
  • Or Safari menu → SettingsPrivacyManage Website Data → search “portail.veloservices.ca” → Remove.

Phone & tablet

  • Open the Settings app → SafariClear History and Website Data.
  • Quick way to confirm it’s a cache issue: open the portal in a Private tab (tabs icon → Private).
  • menu → SettingsPrivacyClear Browsing Data → “Cached Images and Files”.
  • menu → SettingsPrivacy and securityClear browsing data → “Cached images and files”.
  • Quick tip: on the blank page, tap then the reload icon to force a refresh.

Still stuck?

Try opening the portal in a private / incognito window. If it works in private mode but not in your normal browser, that confirms it’s a cache issue and clearing the portal’s data (above) will fix it. If it still fails even in private mode, contact us.
